Insurance supports labor integration

Employing people with Down syndrome is a very difficult and complicated task. This is primarily due to the fact that companies discriminate against these individuals due to their disabilities. To carry out the labor integration project, which includes this segment of society, Santalucía Seguros and the Randstad Foundation provided financial support for this initiative. The former company donated approximately €16,000 to the "Alliance Program," while the latter signed an agreement to provide support.

The main objective of this plan is to increase the employment rate among people with intellectual disabilities and improve their working conditions through awareness-raising activities.

The Randstad regional director, Virginia Román, was present at the donation presentation, while Santalucía Seguros was represented by Juan José Rodríguez Alkantud, the Events Manager , and Paloma Serrano Diosdado, the Human Resources Technician, who represented José María Martín González, the insurer’s HR director.

The Randstad Foundation aims to help disadvantaged people find employment. These include people with disabilities and women at risk of social exclusion, those with unshared family responsibilities, victims of gender-based violence, long-term unemployed, and those over 45 years of age, largely.

Both companies are known for providing policies to citizens in any area they desire. These include life insurance , car insurance, motorcycle insurance, home insurance , insurance news, and more.
